1. Who we are

Kiddalou is a children’s publishing brand run by Estefanía André Feijóo, based in Spain. Our full business identification details, including our registered address and tax number, are published in our Legal Notice.

Throughout this page, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Kiddalou. “You” means anyone using this website.

2. Accepting these terms

By using this site or downloading a printable, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.

These terms apply to parents, teachers, librarians, homeschoolers, caregivers, and other adults who use the site. If a child uses any Kiddalou content, the adult responsible for that use should supervise them as appropriate.

3. What you’ll find here

This site is where we publish information about Kiddalou books, a growing library of free printable activities, and articles for parents. It is not a store. We don’t take payments, we don’t hold accounts, and we don’t ship anything.

We add, change, and occasionally remove content. A printable that’s here today may be replaced by a better version tomorrow, so download what you want to keep.

4. Free printables: what you can and can’t do

Our free printables are free to download and free to use with children. You don’t need to ask permission, credit us, or fill in a form. What follows is the whole of it.

Yes, please

  • Print them at home, as many times as you like.
  • Print them for a classroom, a library, a summer camp, a waiting room, or a similar setting.
  • Use them in homeschooling, tutoring, therapy, childcare, or other educational or professional sessions, including sessions you are paid to provide.
  • Hand out printed copies to children, parents, students, or other teachers.
  • Link to the page they’re on, from anywhere.

Please don’t

  • Sell the printable itself or charge anyone for access to it.
  • Include the printable file in a paid resource, membership, course, download, bundle, or product.
  • Upload or redistribute the digital files through another website, cloud folder, shared drive, resource platform, marketplace, or similar service.
  • Edit them, crop out our name, or present them as your own work.
  • Use them to train machine learning models.

The short version: use them freely with kids, including as part of your work as a teacher, tutor, therapist, or other professional. Printed copies can be handed out where you’re using them, but please send anyone who wants the digital file to our website rather than passing the file around. That’s what keeps them free.

We’re not trying to be difficult about the “please don’t” list, and we’re happy to consider uses it doesn’t cover. If you want to do something we haven’t thought of, ask us.

5. Bonus content from our books

Some Kiddalou books include a QR code that unlocks extra downloadable activities. These bonus files are included with the book for the purchaser’s personal or professional use.

You may print and reuse them with children in your own household, classroom, homeschool, tutoring, therapy, childcare, library, or similar setting, including as part of a paid professional service. Please don’t sell them, upload them elsewhere, include them in another product or resource, or share the digital files or download link with other people.

The QR code is meant for a grown-up to scan. We ask for an email address so we can send the files, and we explain in our Privacy Policy exactly what happens to it.

Asking for a bonus doesn’t sign you up for anything else. The form offers our release list as a separate box, unticked by default, and your files arrive whether you tick it or not.

6. Buying our books

Kiddalou books are sold on Amazon, not here. When you follow a link from our site to a listing, you’re buying from Amazon under Amazon’s terms, and your order, your payment, your delivery, and any return or refund are handled entirely by them.

We do our best to keep prices, formats, and availability accurate on our pages, but the listing is always the source of truth. If something looks wrong on our site, tell us and we’ll fix it.

7. Our content and our name

Unless otherwise stated, the original content created and owned by Kiddalou — including our illustrations, text, printables, book covers, original page designs, and the character Lou — is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws.

Third-party names, logos, trademarks, content, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

“Kiddalou,” the Kiddalou logo, “For little minds in motion,” and the character Lou are identifiers associated with our brand. Please don’t use them for your own products, services, or branding, or in any way that suggests we made, sponsored, approved, or endorsed something we didn’t.

Outside the permissions in Section 4 and Section 5, you’ll need our written consent before reproducing, republishing, distributing, or adapting our protected work. If you’re unsure whether a particular use is allowed, ask us.

8. Using this site

Use the site the way you’d expect: read it, download things, share links. Please don’t:

  • Try to break into it, disrupt it, or test its security without asking us first.
  • Scrape it in bulk, or copy substantial parts of it to build something else.
  • Upload or send anything harmful, unlawful, or misleading.
  • Use automated tools to hammer the site or harvest our files.
  • Pretend to be us, or imply a partnership that doesn’t exist.

If any of that happens, we may block access. For everything else, we’d much rather talk it through.

9. Children, and a word about supervision

Our books and printables are made for children roughly 4 to 12 years old. The website itself is written for grown-ups, and children should use it with an adult nearby.

Some of our activities involve scissors, cutting out a diploma, folding, or coloring materials. Choosing which activities suit your child, and supervising them, is your call as the adult. We design with safety in mind, but we can’t be in the room.

Age recommendations on our books and printables are guidance, not rules. You know your child better than a number on a cover does.

10. What we can and can’t promise about our content

We put real care into our books, printables, and articles, and we check what we publish. Even so, this site is provided as it is, and we can’t promise it will always be accurate, complete, current, or free of errors, or that every page will be available at all times.

Our articles for parents are provided for general informational and educational purposes. They are not individualized medical, psychological, therapeutic, or professional educational advice, and they aren’t a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your child and their circumstances.

11. Messages you send us

When you email us or use the contact form, please don’t send anything confidential or sensitive, and don’t send us other people’s personal information.

If you send us comments, suggestions, or feedback about Kiddalou, we may use that feedback to improve our books, website, or resources. Please don’t send us manuscripts, original artwork, book proposals, or other unsolicited creative submissions. We don’t accept unsolicited submissions.

12. Links to other sites

We link to Amazon and to our social profiles, and we may link to other useful sites. Those are other companies’ sites, with their own terms and their own privacy practices, and we’re not responsible for what’s on them or what they do.

13. Availability of the site

We’d like the site to be up all the time, and mostly it is. But we may take it down for maintenance, change how it works, or move content around, sometimes without notice. We won’t be liable to you if a page is unavailable when you wanted it.

14. Our responsibility to you

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or losses arising from your use of the site or of anything you downloaded from it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited or excluded.

If you’re a consumer, you keep all the rights that mandatory consumer law gives you, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

15. If you think there’s a copyright problem

If you find our illustrations, printables, or text republished somewhere they shouldn’t be, please tell us at hello@kiddalou.com. We follow these things up.

If you believe something on our site infringes your rights, write to the same address with enough detail to identify the work and the page, and we’ll look into it and act quickly if you’re right.

16. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, and how we use cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy. Please read both alongside these terms.

17. Changes to these terms

We update these terms when the site changes or when we get something wrong. The current version always lives on this page, with the date at the top.

If we make a change that meaningfully affects what you can do with our content, we’ll say so clearly rather than quietly editing a line.

18. Which law applies

These terms are governed by Spanish law.

If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away any protection given to you by the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms prevents you from bringing a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.

If a consumer dispute can’t be resolved directly with us, we’ll provide information about an appropriate alternative dispute resolution entity where we’re required to do so by applicable law.
